A polyurethane ceiling ornament is a single decorative element, made of polyurethane, applied to the ceiling surface. It is used to create a pattern in the centre of the ceiling around a chandelier or across the surface, adding relief to a flat ceiling. It is preferred in spaces such as living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. The polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed directly to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster ornament, it can be installed by one person and the risk of breakage during handling is low. As it is mould-cast, the motif details are identical on every piece.
