Polure wall decoration is the general name for polyurethane decorative elements used to add volume and ornamentation to wall surfaces. It covers pieces such as medallions, mouldings, panel frames and relief motifs; it is applied on living room, hall and bedroom walls to create a focal point or to divide the surface. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is a less brittle option than plaster decoration and, unlike wood, unaffected by humidity. Because it is mould-cast, the surface details repeat identically on every piece.
