polyurethane concealed lighting cornice

Polure concealed lighting is an indirect lighting application created with channelled polyurethane cornices that hold an LED strip. An LED strip is placed in the gap behind the profile, which is mounted at the ceiling edge or top line of the wall; the light is not direct but reflects off the surface to give a soft glow. It is used for ambient lighting on living room, corridor and bedroom ceilings. The polyurethane profile is lightweight and fixed with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is less affected by LED heat than plaster and, thanks to its light weight, easy to apply along long runs.
