Polure door sets are matching sets of polyurethane casings, headers and arches that together complete the surround of a door. They are arranged with vertical casings along the door edges and a header or arch at the top, giving the door opening a unified frame. The polyurethane pieces are lightweight and fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell and can be painted. Unlike wood sets they are unaffected by humidity, and compared to plaster they are lighter and easier to apply.
