Polure niche is a polyurethane frame element used to create a recess-like decorative area on a wall. Applied on a flat wall, it forms a framed focal area for a painting, mirror, object or lighting; it can be used in curved or rectangular forms. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is a lighter, break-resistant option compared to a plaster niche and, unlike wood, unaffected by humidity. Because it is mould-cast, the curve and profile details stay identical on every piece.
