Polure polfix mounting

Polure polfix mounting is the process of fixing polyurethane cornices, architraves and panels to a wall or ceiling using polfix adhesive. In the process the surface is freed of dust and grease, polfix is spread on the back of the part, and the part is pressed into position and held briefly. Because polyurethane products are lightweight, mounting can be done without screws or anchors; this speeds up the application and gives a clean result without drilling the wall. The joints between parts are filled and smoothed with polfix to achieve a seamless surface. After the adhesive has dried, the surface can be sanded and painted to any colour. Polure recommends polfix mounting so it works compatibly with its own polyurethane products.
