Polure decorative trim is the general name for polyurethane ornamental elements applied to surfaces in interiors and exteriors. It covers profiles such as cornices, surrounds, coving, ceiling roses, columns and medallions; it is used to add interest to plain surfaces on walls, ceilings and facades. The polyurethane material is lightweight, applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive and requires no additional support. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted; compared with plaster and wooden equivalents it is lighter and quicker to install. Since it is mould-produced, the motif details repeat identically on every piece and multiple pieces can be reproduced in the same pattern.
