smooth cornice

A smooth cornice is a straight-lined polyurethane cornice profile with no relief or pattern on its surface. Applied at the wall-ceiling junction, it creates a plain transition and frame between the two surfaces. Polyurethane is lighter than plaster and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister, or peel, and can be painted. Its flat surface gives a smooth look suited to modern, plain interiors. Being light makes installation at the ceiling edge easier. Because it is mould-cast, the cross-section is the same on every piece and joins seamlessly along the line. Polure produces the smooth cornice in a range of cross-section and width options.
