relief-worked moulding strip

A relief-worked moulding strip is a slim polyurethane strip profile with a raised pattern on its surface, used at wall and ceiling transitions. It is used as a wall border, panel frame and panel divider to give surfaces a patterned boundary line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Unlike a wooden strip it is unaffected by moisture, and it is more break-resistant than plaster. Because it is mould-cast, the relief pattern repeats evenly along the full length of the strip.
