A relief wall ornament is a polyurethane decorative element with a raised pattern on its surface that mounts onto the wall. It is used on living room, entrance hall and hallway walls to give the wall a textured look and ornamentation. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. It is more break-resistant than plaster ornaments and, unlike wood, is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the relief pattern repeats at the same depth on every piece and can be painted to any colour after mounting.
