soffit decoration

A soffit decoration is a single polyurethane decorative element applied to the underside of the roof eaves. It is used to embellish the junction of the facade and the roof overhang and to emphasise the eaves line. Polyurethane is lightweight, so it can be fitted practically at a high installation point with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell outdoors, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with a plaster or timber equivalent, it is unaffected by damp and installs in less time. Because it is mould-cast, the decorative pattern repeats identically on every piece.
