A soffit ornament piece is a single polyurethane decorative element applied to the underside of the roof eaves. It is used to emphasise the eaves line and embellish the upper junction of the facade. Polyurethane is lightweight, so it can be fitted practically at a high installation point with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell outdoors, and can be painted. Compared with a plaster or timber equivalent, it is unaffected by damp and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamental pattern repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces soffit ornament pieces in a range of motifs and sizes.
