Living room column decor is the cladding and trimming of structural or decorative columns in the living room with polyurethane shafts, capitals and bases. Half (pilaster) or full column pieces are applied to the wall or to an existing column surface. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being much lighter than plaster or stone alternatives, it installs quickly and adds no extra load to the structure.
