A rigid foam border is a decorative strip profile produced from rigid polyurethane foam that emphasises the transition at wall and surface edges. It is used as a framing element at ceiling edges, wall panel borders and furniture edges. The rigid foam structure is sturdier than standard foam; it is lightweight, applied with assembly adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack, does not swell and can be painted. Because the profile pattern is mould-produced, the same section repeats along its length and forms a continuous line when joined.
