A rigid PU column is a decorative column made from rigid polyurethane (PU), consisting of body, base and capital parts. It is used as a vertical element indoors and outdoors at entrances, halls and facades. The rigid polyurethane structure is sturdier than flexible foam; it is still lightweight, applied with assembly adhesive and carried more practically than stone and wood. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, does not swell and can be painted. Because the body and capital details are mould-produced, they repeat the same on every piece.
