A fireplace side bracket corbel is a curved polyurethane console placed on the side edge of a fireplace unit that gives the appearance of carrying the top slab. It is used in decorative fireplace setups to add classic ornamentation and volume to the side area. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp and can be painted.
