Fireplace side ornamentation is an ornamental polyurethane decor element applied to the side surfaces of a fireplace unit. It is used to enrich the side edges of a decorative fireplace with classic motifs, profiles or reliefs. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the ornament details repeat identically on every piece and the two side edges look symmetrical.
