A casing corner element is a polyurethane piece used at the corner junction of a door or window casing, joining the two casing arms together. It is used to create a clean junction and a decorative accent at the corners of a casing frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp and can be painted with exterior paint. Because it is mould-cast, the corner element profile repeats to match the casing arms, which provides a clean corner without the need for mitre cuts.
