Water-resistant cornice is a ceiling cornice made from polyurethane and suited to humid environments. A cornice is a profile that creates a decorative transition where the ceiling meets the wall; it is used in areas with heavy moisture such as bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms and exterior facades. Thanks to its closed-cell, non-absorbent structure, polyurethane resists moisture; it does not crack, swell, expand or grow mould. It is lightweight, applied directly with mounting adhesive and can be painted. In wet environments it lasts longer than plaster and wood. Polure produces water-resistant cornice by mold in different widths and profile options; thanks to mold production, the profile repeats identically on every piece.
