Water-resistant panelling is a decorative wall cladding panel made from polyurethane and suited to humid environments. Panelling is an element that covers a wall partly or fully and creates a decorative surface in a panel or trim layout; it is used as an alternative to wood panelling in humid areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms and exterior facades. Thanks to its closed-cell, non-absorbent structure, polyurethane resists moisture; it does not crack, swell, expand, rot or grow mould. It is lightweight, applied directly with mounting adhesive and can be painted. Compared with wood, it needs no maintenance and lasts longer in wet environments.
