water-resistant profile

A water-resistant profile is a decorative wall and ceiling profile made from polyurethane and suited to humid environments. A profile is the general name for long pieces such as cornices, mouldings, trims and surrounds that create a decorative transition or frame on a surface; it is used in humid areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms and exterior facades. Thanks to its closed-cell, non-absorbent structure, polyurethane resists moisture; it does not crack, swell, expand or grow mould. It is lightweight, applied directly with mounting adhesive and can be cut and painted. In wet environments it lasts longer than plaster and wood. Polure produces water-resistant profiles by mold in different widths and cross-section options.
