Ceiling cornice models are polyurethane cornice types that create a decorative band at the ceiling edge or across the ceiling surface. They are used to emphasise the transition at the ceiling-to-wall junction and to frame the ceiling. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the cornice pattern repeats along its length, and pieces combine to form a continuous line.
