Ceiling medallion models refer to the various pattern, diameter and form options of polyurethane medallions applied to the ceiling centre. Plain ringed models, classic models with flower and leaf relief, and modern geometric models are used on living room, hallway and dining room ceilings to frame the area around the chandelier. The polyurethane medallion is lightweight; it is fixed directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive and needs no screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster medallion, overhead installation is easy, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture.
