ceiling cornice profile

A ceiling cornice profile is a polyurethane decorative edge profile applied to the joint line between ceiling and wall. It is used to soften the transition between ceiling and wall, emphasise the corner and, where needed, create a concealed lighting run. The polyurethane profile is lightweight and applied directly to the corner with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the cross-section of the profile is the same along its entire length and joints are easily aligned. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent makes installation easier.
