Behind-TV unit slatting is the application of cladding the wall holding the television with vertical or horizontal polyurethane slats. The slats are placed at set intervals, giving the wall a linear texture and rhythm; this creates a backdrop that frames the TV area. It is preferred in living rooms and lounges to emphasise the TV wall. Polyurethane is lightweight; the slats bond directly to the wall and need no heavy substructure. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or peel, and can be applied in wood, matte or contrasting tones since they can be painted any colour. Installation is fast and clean. Polure produces slatting items with a moulded manufacturing process; slat profiles have consistent dimensions and clean cross-sections. Different slat widths and spacings can be used to create custom line arrangements on the wall.
