Villa entrance ornamentation is the general term for the polyurethane decorative surrounds, columns, cornices and reliefs used on a villa's entrance facade. They are combined to emphasise the entrance, frame door and window openings, and add detailing to the facade. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the facade with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being lighter than its stone and plaster equivalents, it adds no load to the facade and speeds up installation. Because it is mould-produced, all pieces repeat in the same profile and relief detail.
