A round column cladding is a decorative cladding element in cylindrical form that wraps around an existing reinforced-concrete or steel column. It is usually fitted around the column in two half pieces and gives a plain concrete or steel column the appearance of a column. Combined with a base and capital, it forms a complete decorative column. Round column claddings made from polyurethane are lightweight and mount easily and quickly onto the existing column. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being much lighter than marble or stone cladding reduces the labour load. Polure produces round column claddings in internal dimensions suited to different column diameters, providing a smooth cylindrical surface after installation.
