Montaje de Rosetones y Cúpulas Paso a Paso

La correcta instalación de rosetones y cúpulas de techo asegura una alineación milimétrica con la lámpara central y una integración limpia sin fisuras.

Paso 1: Centrado de la Estancia mediante Diagonales Láser

Step 1: Surface Inspection and Center Marking — Inspect the ceiling substrate to ensure it is clean, dry, and free of flaking paint. Mark the exact central point of the room using cross-diagonal chalk lines. Estimated Time: 15-20 minutes. Common Mistake: Relying on visual estimation instead of exact measurements, causing off-center chandelier positioning.
Step 2: Electrical Cable Pass-Through Drilling — Drill a clean hole in the center of the polyurethane ceiling rose or dome to route electrical wiring safely through the element. Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes. Common Mistake: Drilling without securing the element, leading to edge chipping or improper hole sizing.
Step 3: Edge Profile Trimming and Miter Cutting — If fitting the dome within surrounding coving or recessed panels, cut edge joints using a miter box set to a precise 45-degree angle. Estimated Time: 15-25 minutes. Common Mistake: Using coarse-tooth wood saws that tear the rigid closed-cell polyurethane structure.
Step 4: Applying Polyurethane Assembly Adhesive — Apply a continuous bead of polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along the rear contact zone of the dome. Remember that silicone is strictly forbidden. Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes. Common Mistake: Using standard interior silicone instead of dedicated PU assembly adhesive, resulting in bond failure.
Step 5: Overhead Mounting and Mechanical Screw Fastening — Press the ceiling rose firmly against the ceiling. Drive screws through pre-drilled countersunk holes into ceiling wall plugs to satisfy mandatory mechanical fixing rules. Estimated Time: 20-30 minutes. Common Mistake: Relying solely on adhesive bonding without mandatory mechanical screw anchorage.
Step 6: Gap Filling, Sanding, and Final Coating — Fill screw holes and perimeter gaps with joint compound. Allow to dry, sand smooth using grano 180-220 sandpaper, and apply two coats of topcoat paint (UV paint mandatory for exterior installations). Estimated Time: 45-60 minutes (excluding drying time). Common Mistake: Sanding with coarse sandpaper below 180 grit, which scratches the factory-primed polyurethane layer.

Paso 2: Perforación del Cable y Recorte en Pladur para Cúpulas

Para rosetones, taladre el orificio central para el cableado. Para cúpulas empotradas, recorte el círculo en la placa de cartón yeso asegurando la cámara libre posterior.

Paso 3: Fijación con Adhesivo y Tornillos de Refuerzo

Aplique adhesivo de poliuretano adhesivo de montaje a base de PU en el dorso de la pieza con densidad 150-220 kg/m³ (objetivo de producción ~160 kg/m³) y presione contra el techo, reforzando la pestaña con tornillos avellanados. Tiempo de curado: aproximadamente una hora.

Paso 4: Sellado Perimetral, Lijado y Pintura

Rellene las uniones con masilla, lije fino grano 180-220 y pinte con la pintura del techo sobre la imprimación de fábrica imprimación acrílica blanca monocomponente en temperaturas -100 °C / +80 °C. Inmune al agua (inferior al 1%).
