Montaje de Arcos y Molduras Curvas Paso a Paso

La correcta instalación de los arcos de medio punto de poliuretano asegura una transición curva continua, sin fisuras y con una geometría perfecta.

Paso 1: Medición de la Luz del Vano y Comprobación de Nivel

Step 1: Surface Inspection and Preparation — Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, level, and free of loose dust or oil. Duration: 15-30 minutes. Common mistake: Applying polyurethane adhesive over unstable plaster or damp wall surfaces, causing bond failure.
Step 2: Arc Template and Radius Measurement — Measure the span and height of the archway, then trace a 1:1 scale template on cardboard or directly on the wall to guide segment placement. Duration: 30-45 minutes. Common mistake: Relying on estimates instead of measuring multiple arc points, leading to visible gaps between profile segments.
Step 3: Miter Cutting and Segment Dry-Fitting — Cut the polyurethane arch profiles at precise 45-degree miter angles using a fine-toothed saw, then dry-fit all segments against the marked template. Duration: 30-60 minutes. Common mistake: Cutting without verifying the correct angle orientation for curved profile geometry.
Step 4: Adhesive Application and Profile Placement — Apply continuous beads of polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along profile contact surfaces and joint faces; do not use silicone. Press segments firmly onto the wall substrate. Duration: 20-40 minutes. Common mistake: Using silicone sealants, which leads to joint separation and failure.
Step 5: Mechanical Anchoring with Screws — Drill pilot holes through the polyurethane profile into the wall substrate and drive screws into wall plugs every 300-400 mm along the arc. Duration: 30-45 minutes. Common mistake: Omitting mechanical fasteners and relying solely on adhesive bonding.
Step 6: Joint Puttying and Sanding — Fill screw countersinks and profile joints with specialized putty. Allow it to dry completely, then sand smooth using grano 180-220 sandpaper. Duration: 45-60 minutes (excluding drying time). Common mistake: Using coarse sandpaper that gouges the factory-primed polyurethane surface.
Step 7: Primer Touch-Up and Final Painting — Apply an optional touch-up primer over sanded joints, followed by two coats of UV-resistant paint for exterior projects or quality interior paint. Duration: 1-2 hours. Common mistake: Applying non-UV resistant paint outdoors, resulting in discoloration and weathering.

Paso 2: Presentación en Seco y Ajuste de los Dos Semiarcos

Presente los dos semiarcos en seco sobre el vano, verificando que la unión central superior coincida exactamente en la vertical del eje con piezas de longitud 2400-2440 mm.

Paso 3: Aplicación del Adhesivo y Colocación de la Clave

Aplique adhesivo de poliuretano adhesivo de montaje a base de PU en el reverso de los semiarcos con densidad 150-220 kg/m³ (objetivo de producción ~160 kg/m³) y fije la clave central superior disimulando la junta de testa. Tiempo de curado: aproximadamente una hora.

Paso 4: Sellado de Juntas, Lijado y Pintura

Rellene los empalmes con masilla elástica, lije con lija fina grano 180-220 y pinte con la pintura de pared sobre la imprimación imprimación acrílica blanca monocomponente en temperaturas -100 °C / +80 °C. Inmune al agua (inferior al 1%).
