La correcta instalación de los troncos rústicos de poliuretano recrea el ambiente cálido de los chalets de montaña con un montaje limpio y sin sobrecargas.

Paso 1: Medición y Trazado de Ejes en Techo Inclinado

Step 1: Surface Inspection and Layout Marking — Inspect the mounting substrate to verify it is completely clean, dry, and free of dust or loose plaster. Mark the layout lines on the ceiling or wall based on the log diameter and desired axial spacing. Duration: 30 minutes. Common Mistake: Installing profiles over damp or dusty substrates, which impairs adhesive bonding.
Step 2: Precision Measuring and 45-Degree Miter Cutting — Measure the required span lengths and cut the polyurethane logs using a high-precision miter saw. Ensure all corner connections and joint transitions utilize accurate 45-degree miter cuts. Duration: 20 minutes per log section. Common Mistake: Making straight cuts without checking corner angles, leaving visible gaps at wall junctions.
Step 3: Applying Polyurethane Assembly Adhesive — Apply continuous beads of polyurethane assembly adhesive along the contact edges and inner bonding channel of the log profile. Never substitute this material with standard silicone sealant. Duration: 10 minutes per log. Common Mistake: Using silicone adhesives that fail to form a rigid structural bond with polyurethane.
Step 4: Overhead Positioning and Mandatory Mechanical Anchoring — Press the log firmly onto the marked ceiling layout lines. Immediately secure the profile mechanically by driving screws through pre-drilled holes into wall plugs set within the ceiling substrate. Duration: 15 minutes per anchoring point. Common Mistake: Relying solely on adhesive and omitting mandatory mechanical wall plugs and screws.
Step 5: Joint Filling and Surface Sanding — Fill all screw head recesses and section joints with polyurethane-compatible putty. Once cured, sand the treated areas smooth using grano 180-220 sandpaper to create a continuous surface profile. Duration: 25 minutes per joint. Common Mistake: Using coarse sandpaper below 180 grit, which scratches the factory surface texture.
Step 6: Final Priming and Protective Coating — Inspect the factory-primed surface and apply an optional additional acrylic primer if localized filling occurred. Finish the log with two coats of paint, ensuring the paint specified for outdoor installations is fully UV-resistant. Duration: 45 minutes plus drying time. Common Mistake: Using non-UV resistant interior paint for exterior log installations.

Paso 2: Corte de Ingletes y Aplicación de Adhesivo

Corte el tronco de longitud estándar 3000 mm a la medida exacta con serrucho de diente fino. Aplique cordones de adhesivo de poliuretano adhesivo de montaje a base de PU en el interior del canal con densidad 150-220 kg/m³ (objetivo de producción ~160 kg/m³).

Paso 3: Encaje sobre Tacos y Fijación Mecánica Oculta

Encaje el tronco sobre los tacos de guía y fíjelo lateralmente con tornillos avellanados ocultos. Tiempo de curado: aproximadamente una hora.

Paso 4: Remate de Testas con Tapas y Pátina Nogal

Pegue las tapas de testa decorativas en los extremos vistos. Aplique pátina de acabado en tono nogal o roble oscuro sobre la imprimación imprimación acrílica blanca monocomponente en temperaturas -100 °C / +80 °C. Inmune al agua (inferior al 1%).
