Selección e Instalación de Vigas y Troncos Rústicos
Manual paso a paso sobre el dimensionado de secciones de troncos según la altura de techo, corte de ingletes y fijación con tacos.
Los troncos y vigas de sección cuadrada de poliuretano aportan la contundencia visual del maderamen macizo rústico sin sobrecargar los techos ni requerir mantenimiento.
Diferenciación Técnica: Tronco Cuadrado, Viga y Cabio
- Substrate Preparation and Axis Marking — Clean and dry the mounting ceiling or wall substrate to remove dust, oil, and loose material. Measure the layout and mark centerlines using a chalk line based on a planned axis spacing of 60 to 100 cm.
- Precision Profile Cutting — Measure the required log lengths and cut the polyurethane profiles using a fine-toothed hand saw or miter saw. Cut corner joints at a precise 45-degree miter angle for clean corner transitions.
- Polyurethane Adhesive Application — Apply continuous beads of polyurethane assembly adhesive along all profile contact edges that meet the ceiling or wall. Do not use silicone adhesives, as they lack sufficient initial tack and paintability.
- Mechanical Fixing with Counter-Screws — Press the polyurethane log firmly onto the marked axis line. Drive corrosion-resistant screws through pre-drilled, countersunk holes in the profile into structural wall plugs or ceiling joists to ensure mandatory mechanical anchoring.
- Installing End Caps and Decorative Corbels — Fit matching polyurethane end caps to open profile ends and mount decorative corbels at wall-ceiling intersections using polyurethane adhesive and mechanical screws driven into the substrate.
- Joint Filling and Surface Sanding — Fill countersunk screw heads and profile butt joints with compatible exterior-grade filler. Allow the filler to cure fully, then sand the joints smooth using grano 180-220 sandpaper.
- Paint Application and Wood-Effect Patina — Apply a base coat of acrylic paint, followed by a wiped wood-effect patina glaze. For exterior installations, apply two coats of a UV-resistant topcoat to protect against environmental degradation.
Paso 1: Elección de Sección y Modulación de Ejes
Para techos de hasta 2,80 m se eligen secciones de 12x12 cm; para alturas superiores a 3,20 m se emplean troncos de 18x18 cm con longitud estándar 3000 mm separados cada 80–100 cm.
Paso 2: Montaje sobre Tacos con Adhesivo y Tornillería
Fije tacos de madera al techo con tacos de expansión. Aplique adhesivo estructural adhesivo de montaje a base de PU en el interior del perfil hueco con densidad 150-220 kg/m³ (objetivo de producción ~160 kg/m³) y atornille lateralmente. Tiempo de curado: aproximadamente una hora.
Paso 3: Colocación de Tapas de Extremo y Pátina de Acabado
Cierre los extremos vistos con tapas de tronco a juego. Aplique pátina en tonos nogal o roble rústico sobre la imprimación de fábrica imprimación acrílica blanca monocomponente. Apto para exteriores (inferior al 1%) en temperaturas -100 °C / +80 °C con clase de fuego B2 (retardante de llama).
