Manuel de pose pas à pas pour trouver le centre géométrique de la pièce, percer le passage de câble du lustre et peindre sans démarcation.

La pose d'une rosace ou d'une coupole en polyuréthane couronne le centre de votre plafond et magnifie la suspension lumineuse de la pièce.

Étape 1 : Traçage du Centre Géométrique de la Pièce

Step 1: Surface Inspection and Center Marking — Inspect the ceiling substrate to ensure it is clean, dry, and free of flaking paint. Mark the exact central point of the room using cross-diagonal chalk lines. Estimated Time: 15-20 minutes. Common Mistake: Relying on visual estimation instead of exact measurements, causing off-center chandelier positioning.
Step 2: Electrical Cable Pass-Through Drilling — Drill a clean hole in the center of the polyurethane ceiling rose or dome to route electrical wiring safely through the element. Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes. Common Mistake: Drilling without securing the element, leading to edge chipping or improper hole sizing.
Step 3: Edge Profile Trimming and Miter Cutting — If fitting the dome within surrounding coving or recessed panels, cut edge joints using a miter box set to a precise 45-degree angle. Estimated Time: 15-25 minutes. Common Mistake: Using coarse-tooth wood saws that tear the rigid closed-cell polyurethane structure.
Step 4: Applying Polyurethane Assembly Adhesive — Apply a continuous bead of polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along the rear contact zone of the dome. Remember that silicone is strictly forbidden. Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes. Common Mistake: Using standard interior silicone instead of dedicated PU assembly adhesive, resulting in bond failure.
Step 5: Overhead Mounting and Mechanical Screw Fastening — Press the ceiling rose firmly against the ceiling. Drive screws through pre-drilled countersunk holes into ceiling wall plugs to satisfy mandatory mechanical fixing rules. Estimated Time: 20-30 minutes. Common Mistake: Relying solely on adhesive bonding without mandatory mechanical screw anchorage.
Step 6: Gap Filling, Sanding, and Final Coating — Fill screw holes and perimeter gaps with joint compound. Allow to dry, sand smooth using grain 180-220 sandpaper, and apply two coats of topcoat paint (UV paint mandatory for exterior installations). Estimated Time: 45-60 minutes (excluding drying time). Common Mistake: Sanding with coarse sandpaper below 180 grit, which scratches the factory-primed polyurethane layer.

Étape 2 : Perçage pour le Crochet et les Fils Électriques

Percez le centre de la rosace à la scie cloche pour laisser passer le câble électrique et le crochet d'ancrage fixé au plancher.

Étape 3 : Encollage et Maintien au Plafond

Appliquez un cordon ondulé de colle structurelle colle de montage à base de PU (séchage en environ une heure) au dos de la rosace et pressez fermement au plafond.

Étape 4 : Masticage du Pourtour, Ponçage et Peinture

Comblez le pourtour au mastic acrylique, poncez au grain fin grain 180-220 et peignez sur l'apprêt primaire acrylique blanc monocomposant sous -100 °C / +80 °C. Imperméable (inférieure à 1 %). Devis valables 7 jours, livraison départ usine départ usine.
