diamond pattern cornice
A diamond pattern cornice is the polyurethane ceiling cornice with a repeating diamond (rhombus) motif on its surface. It is used to create a geometric decorative band at the ceiling-to-wall junction or around a ceiling rose. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, blister or warp, and takes paint well. Being lighter than a plaster cornice, ceiling fitting is easy and can be done by a single person. Since it is moulded, the diamond motif repeats at the same spacing on every piece and joints align neatly. Polure produces the diamond pattern cornice in a range of widths and profiles.
