Mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory to support the weight of this large profile during the adhesive's drying phase. Once fixed, fill all joint gaps and screw heads with a suitable filler, sand with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and apply two coats of high-quality water-based or synthetic paint.
