boiserie corner joint

The boiserie corner joint describes the point where mouldings meet at the corner in boiserie panels, and how that point is neatly joined. This joint is completed cleanly using ready-made polyurethane corner pieces, without mitre cutting. The polyurethane corner pieces are lightweight and are applied to the wall together with the moulding ends using construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, will not crack or blister and can be painted. Making the joint with a ready-made piece reduces alignment errors and speeds up installation. Since it is mould-cast, the corner profile repeats identically at every joint. Polure produces matching corner and moulding pieces for the boiserie corner joint in a range of profiles.
