Paintable panel models are polyurethane panel types in different patterns and sizes with a paint-accepting surface, used for wall cladding. Indoors they are chosen to create a flat, framed or relief surface on living room, bedroom and office walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. Different models are selected according to the style of the space and the wall size; classic ornamented or plain geometric patterns are available. It is lighter than its plaster counterpart, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the pattern repeats identically on every model.
