paintable skirting

A paintable skirting is a polyurethane profile produced with a paint-accepting surface that forms a lower border at the wall-to-floor joint. It is used in interiors such as living rooms, corridors, bedrooms and offices to frame the base of the wall and protect the wall from the floor. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the foot of the wall with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. Unlike wood skirting it is unaffected by moisture, does not rot and does not warp; therefore it can also be used in areas where wet cleaning is done. Because it is mould-cast, the same height and form are kept along the entire profile section. Once painted, it gives a lower line matching the wall or floor colour. Polure produces paintable skirting in different heights and pattern options.
