paintable crown ornament

A paintable crown ornament is a polyurethane decorative piece produced with a paint-accepting surface that forms an ornamented top finish at the top of a wall or above furniture. It is used along the upper edge of display units, cabinets and wall panelling as classic ornamentation and a finishing top line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. Compared with a carved wood crown it is lighter, does not rot, and the same detail is achieved on every piece in series production; compared with plaster it is more break-resistant. Because it is mould-cast, the scroll and motif details repeat identically on every piece. Once painted, it gives a look integrated with the furniture or wall colour. Polure produces the paintable crown ornament in different motif and size options.
