A decorative balcony handrail is a horizontal polyurethane profile mounted on top of the balcony railing, over the balusters. It is an ornamental element that finishes the railing from above and acts as a grip. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed using mounting adhesive and fastening elements; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being far lighter than a concrete or stone handrail, installation is easy and it adds no extra load to the balcony.
