Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), the PBK20 offers a wood-like hardness and impact resistance without the associated weight or structural strain on the building. With physical dimensions measuring 2400 mm in length, 200 mm in width, and 50 mm in height, it is ideally proportioned for comfortable gripping. Its closed-cell structure guarantees a water absorption rate of under 1%, making it entirely immune to rot, moisture expansion, or insect infestation. Designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, it maintains its physical form and dimensional stability within a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.

Visually, the PBK20 features a flat, smooth top face accented by symmetrical stepped profiling along the outer edges. The underside of the profile is engineered with a hollowed-out channel designed to securely sit atop baluster columns or supporting structural frameworks. This precise geometric design ensures seamless alignment and clean joint lines, adapting effortlessly to Neoclassical, Baroque, or contemporary minimalist design schemes.

This versatile profile is highly recommended for finishing outdoor balcony railings, grand internal stairwells, patio boundaries, and French window barriers. Its lightweight nature makes it particularly advantageous for elevated terraces and retrofitting projects where traditional stone or concrete rails would impose too much dead weight on the underlying structure.

Compared to plaster, which is prone to chipping, or timber, which requires constant sealing against moisture, this polyurethane option offers a low-maintenance, high-performance alternative. The profile is delivered with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for painting. While this coating provides an excellent base, the application of an additional primer is optional and remains at the discretion of the customer based on their paint manufacturer's warranty guidelines. Installation requires polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screw fastening for structural safety.
