decorative column plinth

A decorative column plinth is a polyurethane element forming the lowest section of a column and connecting the shaft to the floor, with a profile wider than the shaft. It defines the base of the classical column order; it is used in living rooms, entrances and facades as the bottom piece of a column set. The polyurethane material is light and is applied beneath the column shaft with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and marble alternatives, it is easy to carry and install. Because it is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically across every piece.
