A decorative column foot is a polyurethane element forming the lower section where a column meets the floor, with a profile wider than the shaft. It is the foot piece that seats the column shaft on the floor; it is used in living rooms, entrances and facades as the lower section of classical column sets. The polyurethane material is light and is applied beneath the column shaft with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and marble alternatives, it is easy to carry and install. Because it is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically across every piece.
