decorative cornice

A decorative cornice is a polyurethane profile applied at the wall-to-ceiling joint, softening the transition and creating a classic moulding. It is used along ceiling edges, as a concealed lighting channel, and as a wall-top moulding. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster cornice, it adds no load to the ceiling and installs quickly. Cast in a mould, its profile details repeat identically on every piece and joints are easy to align.
