Decorative rafter types are the full range of polyurethane rafter elements with different cross-sections, lengths and wood textures. They are used under eaves and on pergola and veranda ceilings to create different wooden beam looks. Polyurethane rafter types are lightweight and are applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared to real wood, they do not rot, attract insects, or warp. Because they are mould-produced, the grain texture of each type repeats identically from piece to piece.
