decorative over-window crown

A decorative over-window crown is a polyurethane ornamental element mounted at the top edge of a window opening. Applied above the window on facades, it gives the window a top finish and emphasis, and is widely used on classical and neoclassical facades. Polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed directly to the facade with construction adhesive, with shorter labour than stone or concrete. It resists moisture and outdoor weather, does not crack or blister, and can be coated with exterior facade paint. Because it is moulded, the crown details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces over-window crowns in a range of sizes and profile options.
