A decorative separator is a polyurethane decorative partition element used to divide a space visually. It is used in living rooms, entrances and open-plan areas to separate a space without fully closing it off and to create a decorative transition. The polyurethane material is light and easy to install; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and takes paint. It is lighter than a wood or plaster partition, holds no water and keeps its shape; being light, it is easy to carry and place.
