decorative handrail

A decorative handrail is a polyurethane ornamental element used in the handrail and post sections of staircase and balcony railings. It is preferred to give the railing a classical look and also provides a decorative transition at the joints of balusters and the top rail. The polyurethane body is light and is applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted in any colour. Being lighter than its timber and concrete equivalents, installation is easy. As it is moulded, the profile details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces decorative handrail elements in a range of profiles and sizes.
