A patterned wall corner moulding is a polyurethane profile that frames the corner line at the outer corners of walls, with a decorative pattern on its surface. It is used to emphasise the corner and finish the joint cleanly at inside and outside corner transitions. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. When subjected to impact at an outside corner it takes less damage than plaster, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is moulded, the pattern is identical in every piece.
