Polyurethane Classic Corner Moulding for Wall Frames

The P82024A decorative corner moulding element offers an exceptional way to elevate plain walls and ceilings. This large-scale decorative relief piece acts as a neoclassical focal point, seamlessly bridging horizontal and vertical trim profiles. By adding three-dimensional depth to flat surfaces, it helps architects and designers define spatial proportions with historic charm.

Crafted from high-density rigid foam with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this 710x710 mm element with a 37 mm thickness delivers the physical hardness of wood without its natural vulnerabilities. The material exhibits high dimensional stability, ensuring no warping, shrinking, or cracking over time. With low water absorption (below 1%) and dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, it remains highly stable amid moisture and temperature fluctuations.

The visual design features an intricate central bundle resembling stylized foliage, surrounded by deeply carved floral blooms, delicate berries, and symmetrical scrolling volutes. Unlike traditional plaster which chips and degrades easily, the advanced molding technology ensures that every fine detail and sharp curve remains crisp and structurally sound for decades.

This versatile element is highly suited for luxury living rooms, grand hotel lobbies, upscale restaurants, and boutique retail spaces. It can be paired with linear profiles to create elaborate wall frames, mirror borders, or ornate ceiling corners. Due to its superior moisture resistance, it can also be used in covered outdoor areas or high-humidity indoor environments.

Installation is straightforward and clean. It requires preparing a flat, dry surface, applying polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive, and securing the piece mechanically with screws. The factory-applied primer coat prepares the surface for painting. While an extra primer is optional depending on your paint manufacturer's guidelines, finishing with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint completes the process.
