exterior facade batten
An exterior facade batten is a slim-section polyurethane profile used for panel division and frame lines on a building facade. It organises the surface by creating vertical and horizontal lines on the facade surface and gives a shadow effect. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with facade adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and UV exposure, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with its wood equivalent it is unaffected by moisture, does not rot and needs no maintenance; handling and installation are fast. Polure produces the exterior facade batten in different widths and sizes using moulds, so the profile section repeats identically along the facade.
